About simpoconv

5th ed. Nonverbal behavior in the digital age and remote relationships

The Simpoconv is an interdisciplinary event that brings together researchers, professionals, and students from various fields such as psychology, communication, education, medicine, and business. By fostering dialogue across disciplines, the symposium aims to deepen the understanding of nonverbal behavior and its multifaceted implications in diverse contexts.

This year, the event will address how digital platforms and technological advancements are shaping nonverbal communication, as well as discuss their implications in areas such as telemedicine, virtual education, and remote work. Additionally, we will explore how remote communication is impacting the quality of interpersonal relationships and emotional development, particularly in contexts where face-to-face interactions are limited.
